First time coming here. I was hungry for a steak sandwich but I also got an Italian. While I was ordering was hard to ignore the Sicilian pizza so I got a slice to try. I went back to get more delicious food. I ordered a cheesesteak salad with their house dressing. All I can say is WoW no skimping. It came with a knot of garlic bread on this generous portion of lettuce,cucumber, red onion. Nothing better than the homemade touch and treated like family while you wait.

Should have left this review sooner, but Easter got in the way;) Ordered a Sicilian with xchz & pep, order of fries and hot wings. Didn't realize they closed at 8PM, I had called at 7:35. They said 'no prob!'. I was the last order of the night. They were cleaning up when I arrived and were super welcoming. Tony still had the pie in the oven. I've eaten many Sicilians and Grandmother pies from Bella's over the years. Never did I have a bad pie. This one was no exception. It was beyond delicious. I know people from outside of Berks that make it a point to eat here when they're in the area on business. Always well worth the visit!!! Kudos to the entire staff.

This place is a little hole-in-the wall attached to a cigarette outlet. If you're not careful you could drive right past it, and that would be the biggest mistake. Bella's has rapidly become our favorite lunch spot at work. We've ordered multiple things and everyone single one has come out great. Their grandma pizza is the best I've had in the area. You can NOT go wrong in choosing to order from Bella's.

Being from NJ we expect pizza to be on point with taste and pricing. We start with a slice or two of pizza or a Sicilian. The first bite tells me if it's too much salt in the dough or sauce. How the sauce taste or is the dough crumbly or crunchy or just right after comes out in the oven. Then the cheese! Is it burnt or hangs off the slice. The point is if the pizza isn't good then I'm not spending money for a bigger entree. Here at Bella's Sub's and Pizza the pizza is excellent I had two Sicilians. And everything was on point! And the price was amazing definitely a great place to eat for lunch. I will be back to try other entrees. .

I found myself in Reading, #foodiesofreading The sign outside Bella’s said they have the best cheesesteaks in Berks county so I stopped in. For 8 it was a good cheesesteak. Luckily the other side of the sign advertised their Deep Fried Cheesesteak Wrap. DEEP FRIED CHEESESTEAK!! Time to get serious about Bella’s in Reading. Deep fried cheesesteak, pretty freaking awesome. Looks like a giant egg roll. I think they need to be a little more @jcohl with this. By itself it is a little bland. Luckily it does come with piping hot pizza sauce that more than adequately solves the bland problem. It comes with fries and is under 9. Very good experience. Find something to do in Reading, did see billboards advertising 1 beer night at hockey, and then check out Bella’s.

UPDATE: We tried Grandma’s Pizzas from various reputable pizza places throughout the region, and although they varied in style and flavor and were good, they just don’t compare to Bella’s. I ordered the deep fried cheesesteak and holy cow was that good. Doesn’t look like much but it’s packed full of steak. Their Grandma pizza is the best! The flavor is amazing, nice thin crust, makes it worthwhile to order an extra pie for leftovers.
